Connor was born November 29, 2014 at about 8pm. Her mother is Patty, a black Dutch, and her father is Dakota, tortoiseshell Mini Rex. Her litter sister is Parker. She should stay pretty small, as both of her parents are small breeds. Enjoy the pics! Most of the pictures are on my other blog and I copied most of the captions that I made on them.

As I told you, this litter was the 4th accidental breeding for poor little Patty! I kind of assumed she was probably pregnant when the neighbor gave her to me early in November, but had no idea when she might be due. So, as I was feeding all the rabbits, I noticed some blood and LOTS of hair all over her cage. So, I had to hunt around and found one bunny in the cage tray and one UNDER the cage. So, I quickly cut a box, threw in some hay and as much of her hair as I could and put the bunnies in it and moved them all to the biggest cage. They had quite an adventure in their first hour!

Parker has the most white on her face. Connor is under the hair, so hard to see! |

Both colored a lot like their daddy, but at this point I could not tell if they'd have normal hair or Rex hair. |

This is Parker. This day was an adventure for Connor (the second since birth!) She fell out of the cage overnight! I had to hunt for her. Found her in the sheets behind the cage! She was cold, but fiesty! I had to cut a box with a higher opening, so they couldn't get out! |

Patty's babies are 11 days old! They are starting to eat hay!! They
really do look like their father, Dakota. Not quite sure if they have
his Rex coat, yet, though. |

Patty and her babies. She's much more interested in food! ;) |

The bunnies eyes are open!! And, they will not stay in their box! Patty
is resorting to jumping in the box to get away from them! haha! They are
hopping all over the cage. Luckily, their heads are too big to fall out
of the cage like the one did the other day. So cute! And, at this
point, I believe they are both little does! |

Just had to take a pic of the bunnies eating their dinner. They are 22
days old. They still nurse from Patty, of course, too. And, they love
hay. |

The bunnies are five weeks old today.

The exercise pen didn't hold Patty or the bunnies. The are so small, they squeezed out! |

They are piggies, not bunnies! haha! |
|
Naturally-fed bunnies can eat greens without any sign of diarrhea.
Pelleted foods are not required to raise a healthy rabbit. These bunnies
have never even seen a pellet. |

Sadly, I didn't take any pictures of the babies the past couple of weeks. :( But, I finally got a picture of their father, Dakota!
